Don’t help your children too much, they need to learn to be responsible.

When I go to pick up my son from school, I’ll carry his bag until I learn that though it seems like I’m loving him, I’m actually taking his responsibility away from him. What happens when I’m away, how will he do things for himself? The bible says in Proverbs 22:6 Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.

Your spiritual leader will pave a way for you, don’t allow people to move you, be 100% committed.

2 Kings 2:3 The company of the prophets at Bethel came out to Elisha and asked, “Do you know that the Lord is going to take your master from you today?” “Yes, I know,” Elisha replied, “so be quiet.”

2Kings 2:13 Elisha then picked up Elijah’s cloak that had fallen from him and went back and stood on the bank of the Jordan.

Have an ear for God, your prayers have been answered

Many times I hear people saying they have been praying and no answer from God has come. With my little time I have been in The Lord I have learn that God always speak to us we just don’t have an ear that for Him. His answers are Yes, No and Waite. Sometimes his Waite might seem like a No because we don’t understand His ways. Sometimes the answer comes but it is not what we expect, we ignore it and still Waite for our own answer that we want God to bring. We must spend time improving our relationship with Him through praying and denying self this intern improves our hearing capability.

One day I was angry that somebody did not do what I expected them to do, while driving in my anger I asked God “Help me to respond not to react” and immediately the small voice said “Why are you angry about what this person didn’t do while you know how to do it yourself” it gave me a bit of fright because I did not expect the answer to my prayer so soon and this answer was correcting me instead. I began to thank Him for the answer and never made my call to ask why things were not done. Great Victories are won in silence, you can not hear God when in noisy place. Know what you are praying for and who you are asking else the answer will come and pass.

When Peter was arrested, people were praying for his release but when God answered their prayer they missed it. When Rhoda said Peter is at the door they said: Acts 12:15-17 “You’re out of your mind,” they told her. When she kept insisting that it was so, they said, “It must be his angel .” But Peter kept on knocking, and when they opened the door and saw him, they were astonished. Peter motioned with his hand for them to be quiet and described how the Lord had brought him out of prison. “Tell James and the other brothers and sisters about this,” he said, and then he left for another place. …

Spend time building your relationship with God, don’t go to Him when you want something. He knows what we need even before we ask. Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Be blessed
