David won the fight in his mind before he even faced Goliath. 1 Samuel 17:32 David said to Saul, “Let no one lose heart on account of this Philistine; your servant will go and fight him.” Most people’s gift are dormant because of what people said. Close your ears and hear what God want you to hear. 1 Samuel 17:33 Saul replied, “You are not able to go out against this Philistine and fight him; you are only a young man, and he has been a warrior from his youth.”

You cannot reach your goals when you think about the failing than being successful.

The a Word became flesh

John 1:1-4 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.

John 1:14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

John 1:18 No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.

Culture vs Christianity

The other day while driving back home, I decided to pass by a friend’s house. I meant it to be a quick visit because of the winter weather. As I was saying my good bye’s, the wife walked in with coffee. Not sure if it’s our culture only but it’s rude to refuse food offering. This made me realize how dangerous it is to visit while fasting. I thought to myself, how would I have refused the coffee, one thing I wouldn’t want is to explain that I’m fasting.

Most of the time Christians find themselves having to explain why they do or don’t do certain things. It’s a matter of setting boundaries. Boundaries if not implemented properly can be a problem to those around you.

I pray that God gives you the wisdom to handle the situations that you find your self faced with in your daily walk with him.

Wisdom is knowing what needs to be done now.

Exodus 20:13 “You shall not murder. Wisdom helped Solomon find the truth when a critical decision had to be taken. Sometimes we loose things or fail because we become too spiritual with our decisions.1 Kings 3:24 Then the king said, “Bring me a sword.” So they brought a sword for the king. I’m sure Christian were also shocked by the king’s utterance.

There is a person who need prayer and who need food before prayer.
