There are things that the devil created and made normal that even Christians ignorantly partake in.

God must raise teachers of the Word who will give the truth as is without fear of loosing members.

Don’t use your strength today against others because tomorrow you’ll need them.

John 21:18 “I tell you the truth, when you were young, you were able to do as you liked; you dressed yourself and went wherever you wanted to go. But when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and others will dress you and take you where you don’t want to go.”

You can be a prayerful person and one mistake of anger or unforgiveness is enough for the devil.

2 Corinthians 2:10-11 Now whom you forgive anything, I also forgive. For if indeed I have forgiven anything, I have forgiven that one for your sakes in the presence of Christ, lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.

No person is born bad

The people we see as wrong are just afflicted. In soccer they say, play the ball not the person. Remove satan and see God in a person. Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Be a true Christian

I used to enjoy arguing with Christians about their relationship with God until in 2012 God decided to put a stop. I used to ask God “These people don’t know you, give me a chance and I will tell people who you are and what you expect of them”. I’ll tell Christians, if you have never experienced God’s presence in your life you are far from being a Christian.

When you don’t go to church and you don’t see a difference between your character and that of those who go to church, you’ll never change. Most Christians just had a religious up bringing but they have not made a true commitment to God but they think they are born again. Sometimes it looks like there is part of the bible we use and the other pages that were removed.

When my life changed I decided to go to bible school as part of equipping myself. Contrary to what many believe bible school is not for pastors only but it’s good for Christians to go through it for equipping. When somebody hear that I’m attending bible school the next question “Oh, you want to be a pastor also”.
I’m not trying to say I’ve arrived but explaining how I used to see things as a non believer. Let’s ask God to feel us with the Word so it can change us not use it to boast. Let’s ask God to search and remove anything that still resembles that of a non believer. Paul was surprised when he met Christians that he asked Acts 19:2 “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” he asked them. “No,” they replied, “we haven’t even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.” This is the same question non believers ask themselves when they look at Christians.
To be a Christian means declaring war to satan’s kingdom. Satan has no business with those in his camp. He is after those who escaped. If you escape with one leg in, he’ll finish you. When two giants are fighting the grass suffers. We are like grass in this was, so let’s hide behind Jesus so we don’t become casualties of the war.
Ask God to create a situation where you can experience his presence.

All authority is from God.

Differentiate between MR Zuma and President Zuma. Romans 13:1-2 Submit to Government Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.

Let’s learn from King David when he resisted a thought from a friend that he must attack Saul who was in authority. 1 Samuel 26:8-9 Then Abishai said to David, “God has delivered your enemy into your hand this day. Now therefore, please, let me strike him at once with the spear, right to the earth; and I will not have to strike him a second time!” But David said to Abishai, “Do not destroy him; for who can stretch out his hand against the LORD’s anointed, and be guiltless?”

Was Saul a good leader? Yet God appointed him to lead.

If you are always chasing money you’ll miss greater things. Look for something greater, something that will sustain you.

Acts 3:6 Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.”
The more you know God the wiser you become. To know God, that will transform you. Psalm 30:9 “What profit is there in my blood, When I go down to the pit? Will the dust praise You? Will it declare Your truth? When you have God you have all you need. Success is God’s time, God’s presence and God’s will. Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

If there is one gift we should ask of God is that we understand how He speak to us as individuals

Many gifts are dormant because people fail to interprets how God is communicating the instruction. Answers have been missed because God can’t come and speak to us directly but He uses other measures to bring the message. Pray that God give you the wisdom to understand how He speaks to you.

Job 33:14-16 For God may speak in one way, or in another, Yet man does not perceive it. In a dream, in a vision of the night, When deep sleep falls upon men, While slumbering on their beds, Then He opens the ears of men, And seals their instruction.

If you wake up with a thought, do you attribute it to God? If a drunk person pass and make a comment will you hear if it’s God speaking or you’ll only see a drunk person.
