As one who have been in the Lord longer, don’t let young believers doubt your relationship with God because of the places you go or the things you do.
1 Corinthians 8:9-12 But you must be careful so that your freedom does not cause others with a weaker conscience to stumble. For if others see you-with your “superior knowledge”-eating in the temple of an idol, won’t they be encouraged to violate their conscience by eating food that has been offered to an idol? So because of your superior knowledge, a weak believer for whom Christ died will be destroyed. And when you sin against other believers by encouraging them to do something they believe is wrong, you are sinning against Christ.
If you know your destiny, anything that happens on your way there will not stop you. Genesis 37:5 Now Joseph had a dream, and he told it to his brothers; and they hated him even more.
As much as destiny come with jubilation it attracts rejection, discouragement, hatred. John 16:33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
Hebrews 5:13-14 For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
When God said he will do it, if you are just getting old, you keep asking and praying for the same thing. Learn to trust God with your life when you don’t know when. Hebrews 6:1 So let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. Surely we don’t need to start again with the fundamental importance of repenting from evil deeds and placing our faith in God.
When people go to church because they want to impress you, they won’t maintain. But when you introduce them to Jesus and they feel the need to change, there is permanent fruitful transition.
The time I was studying people tried to make me go to church to a point I grew immune to the topic but when Jesus decided it’s time,I never even had a chance to discuss. As much as we spread the gospel, one must never assume the role of God in making people change.
Satan doesn’t worry about those already in his camp.Psalm 37:35-36 I have seen wicked and ruthless people flourishing like a tree in its native soil. But when I looked again, they were gone! Though I searched for them, I could not find them! They can continue to receive the blessings they received from God because they don’t have opposition in their life
It’s better for Jesus to come and find you with 20 faithful congregants than to host thousands who are not saved because instead of correcting them you entertain their behavior. 1 Thessalonians 2:5 Never once did we try to win you with flattery, as you well know. And God is our witness that we were not pretending to be your friends just to get your money! Don’t compromise the Word so you can keep members and boast about number of congregation.
