Jesus was troubled and expected his disciples to share the pain but was shocked to find them sleeping. Matthew 26:40-41 Then he returned to the disciples and found them asleep. He said to Peter, “Couldn’t you watch with me even one hour? Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak!”

In this era, God is the last person to know about our challenges. There is a woman who when she was troubled went to God in prayer. 1 Samuel 1:15-16 “Oh no, sir!” she replied. “I haven’t been drinking wine or anything stronger. But I am very discouraged, and I was pouring out my heart to the LORD. [16] Don’t think I am a wicked woman! For I have been praying out of great anguish and sorrow.”
