Dependency on people can delay you.

There are things and times where you need the help of others to move forward and there are those that only you have to to do.

John 5:7 “I can’t, sir,” the sick man said, “for I have no one to put me into the pool when the water bubbles up. Someone else always gets there ahead of me.”

Expectations can be costly.

  1. Yes, they can be. When you depend on someone else to be there when you think you need them, but they are not there, you can wind up being awake at 5AM either awake and tired, or trying to sleep but tossing and turning. Writing what you feel, reading peaceful Scripture, and praying to God in the name of Jesus are the best solutions during such times. And realizing that it is Jesus who can bring peace, not another person. God will send help when another person IS the answer, otherwise we must depend on Him. A lesson I am slowly starting to learn for myself. Thank you for posting this. God bless you!
