Pray in obedience to the Spirit

One thing that leads to unanswered prayers is praying amiss. Romans 8:26-27 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.

If what we are praying for is inspired by the Holy Spirit, there must be an answer. When our prayer is in line with God’s will, there is already provision.

James 4:3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.

Not that God can’t answer but are you ready and matured to receive or you’ll use the blessings against others. If I act in obedience to the Holy Spirit, breathing is prayer. There is no better place and time to pray than now, as He speaks.
