Not all problems in our lives are bad. Matthew 4:1 Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. Though Hannah was to bring to earth the great prophet ,Samuel, God deliberately closed her womb. 1 Samuel 1:6 And her rival also provoked her severely, to make her miserable, because the LORD had closed her womb.
Express permission was given to the devil to put Job under serious challenges.Job 1:8 Then the LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?”
Have wisdom to know when it is God dealing with your character not the devil operating outside his boundaries. God can course you to be fired for you to establish your business. When you pray for people, it is important to note that not all affliction must go, they also have their own grace. Don’t find yourself fighting the will of God while praying for people.
it was in God’s perfect will for the Israelites to spen years in the desert.
Mark 10:45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” How many pastors, politician, managers or business people serves the people who are with them. Today instead of serving, these positions gives power to abuse people.
God has a sense of humour, some of us where he found us and changed us. There were better people.
People think when you are anointed, everything in your life should be perfect else they start asking where is your God. Acts 6:8 Stephen, a man full of God’s grace and power, performed amazing miracles and signs among the people.
Great persecution follows great man and woman of God and God continues to use them. Jesus said what he went through, we will also experience.
According to carnal reasoning the way Stephen was used by God, he was supposed to die a peaceful death. The bible says Stephen was full of God’s grace yet he died a gruesome death. Acts 7:57-58,60 Then they put their hands over their ears and began shouting. They rushed at him and dragged him out of the city and began to stone him. His accusers took off their coats and laid them at the feet of a young man named Saul.
As a man or woman of God going through difficult times, when people mock you and call you names, you don’t have to respond but go to God in prayer.
Acts 7:59-60 As they stoned him, Stephen prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” He fell to his knees, shouting, “Lord, don’t charge them with this sin!” And with that, he died.
James 5:11 As you know, we count as blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job’s perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.
Ephesians 4:1 I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called.
With the gifts we have been given comes the responsibility to use and develop them. The gift you have is for others. Ephesians 4:11-12 Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ.
Acts 8:29-31 Then the Spirit said to Philip, “Go near and overtake this chariot.” So Philip ran to him, and heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?” And he said, “How can I, unless someone guides me?” And he asked Philip to come up and sit with him.
Matthew 20:22 But Jesus answered and said, “You do not know what you ask. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?” They said to Him, “We are able.”
