When you run away from your calling, you can put others in danger.

When God calls you, he does not discuss or make a proposal. It is not for discussion. God had a task for Jonah, but he decided to run away and thereby endangering the people who were with him. Jonah 1:4 But the LORD sent out a great wind on the sea, and there was a mighty tempest on the sea, so that the ship was about to be broken up.

God can use anything to accomplish His mission. Jonah 1:17 Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.

God revealed it to me

This is one statement one have to be careful using. In actual fact, your thought is either inspired by God or the devil. If we were to speak signal language: depending on where your satellite dish is facing, you are able to receive a certain signal.
When you say God revealed something, people think you are elevating yourself. God speaks to us in different forms. He speaks in dreams, visions and by planting thoughts in us. You have to be in the same frequency to receive a certain broadcast.
When you say I have been paying and God is just quiet, maybe ask, am I in the right frequency to receive or the message came and passed because you were tuned to the wrong frequency.
When you are aware that God always speak, you become expectant to hear Him speak through His people and the environment. God can lead you through a route that had traffic to reveal to you that you are impatient, you must be able to get the revelation.
Not all of us can stand God’s presence or handle his voice.

The way you respond to those who hurt you, can put you in trouble with God.

Obadiah 1:10 “For violence against your brother Jacob, Shame shall cover you, And you shall be cut off forever.

We can learn a lot from how David dealt with Saul. Though Saul always looked for an opportunity to strike David, when the opportunity arose for David to strike him, he understood that there things he can but the consequences will be serious. 1 Samuel 26:9 But David said to Abishai, “Do not destroy him; for who can stretch out his hand against the LORD’s anointed, and be guiltless?”

As Christian never do wrong to fix the wrong that happened

Never take God’s position when it comes judgement. Don’t be overcome by evil. Romans 12:17-21 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

When a person wrong you and you react to it, God can punish you for reacting instead because He taught you to respond not react.
When you are hurt, cry to him.

How many people want your God?

People hate Christianity because we force it on them. When people see you change, they’ll want to see your God.

Wherever Jesus was moving, people were astonished. Matthew 7:28-29 And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching, for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes. Not everybody who followed Him was saved but by His teaching people were interested and wondering, why is He different.

As a Christian, know that people are watching you and they will either want your God or wonder why you go to church because they don’t see congruency between church and your lifestyle.

There are people who are prominent and those who are significant.

The heart is hidden deep inside our body and the eye is out for everybody to see yet the heart performs such a critical function in our body. Because of its visibility, you can want to care more to have your eye function better and neglect the heart condition. 1 Corinthians 12:20-24 But now indeed there are many members, yet one body. And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. And those members of the body which we think to be less honorable, on these we bestow greater honor; and our unpresentable parts have greater modesty, but our presentable parts have no need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it.

There are people who are everywhere and they look important whilst there are those who sit quietly and once you get their profile, you are astonished.

Be a significant person where you are.

Achan’s Property.

Do you have receipt for all your assets or some came through shortcuts. You cannot expect God to dwell in a house where there’s Achan’s property.

Joshua 7:1 But the children of Israel committed a trespass regarding the accursed things, for Achan the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took of the accursed things; so the anger of the LORD burned against the children of Israel.

Respond and Not react to situations. Know Your Position

Never take the position of God in situations that are before you. 2 Chronicles 20:15 And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the LORD to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.

As a Christian, there are situations that you know you can respond but refrain because of who you are.

1 Samuel 26:9-10 But David said to Abishai, “Do not destroy him; for who can stretch out his hand against the LORD’s anointed, and be guiltless?” David said furthermore, “As the LORD lives, the LORD shall strike him, or his day shall come to die, or he shall go out to battle and perish.

Man and Woman of God can do wrong things, its not for you to deal with them, God put them there and with time, He will deal with them accordingly.

Moses disobeyed God and hence could not enter the promised land as a punishment from God. God is concerned about His people. He did not stop using Moses because of what he did. Deuteronomy 32:51-52 For both of you betrayed me with the Israelites at the waters of Meribah at Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin. You failed to demonstrate my holiness to the people of Israel there. So you will see the land from a distance, but you may not enter the land I am giving to the people of Israel.”
