Calling Early Childhood

The early stages of your calling is similar to the first year in child development. Exodus 33:11 So the LORD spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. And he would return to the camp, but his servant Joshua the son of Nun, a young man, did not depart from the tabernacle.

It is very critical to learn as much as possible from the person God has chosen to guide you. Malnutrition is defined as lack of proper nutrition, caused by not having enough to eat, not eating enough of the right things, or being unable to use the food that one does eat. There is spiritual food that you require in your calling.

Samuel was dedicated to church at a very young age. Spending time with Eli every day. 1 Samuel 1:22 But Hannah did not go up, for she said to her husband, “Not until the child is weaned; then I will take him, that he may appear before the LORD and remain there forever.”

As you serve faithfully, the ephod will fall on you and you will receive double potion. Joshua was the first one to experience the anointing from Moses as he ascended from meeting with God. Joshua 10:12 Then Joshua spoke to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel: “Sun, stand still over Gibeon; And Moon, in the Valley of Aijalon.”

After Elijah died, when Elisha had to cross the sea, he used the same tactics he saw his mentor perform. People tried to discourage him from going after Elijah but he pursued and effort paid off. 2 Kings 2:14 Then he took the mantle of Elijah that had fallen from him, and struck the water, and said, “Where is the LORD God of Elijah?” And when he also had struck the water, it was divided this way and that; and Elisha crossed over.
