Psalm 126:6 They weep as they go to plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the harvest.

Spiritual maturity

As Christian, we need to grow in things of God. The Word must work in us and renew our minds. Hebrews 6:1 So let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. Surely we don’t need to start again with the fundamental importance of repenting from evil deeds and placing our faith in God.
When you find yourself still asking why me Lord, know that you are baby Christian. Hebrews 5:11-14 There is much more we would like to say about this, but it is difficult to explain, especially since you are spiritually dull and don’t seem to listen. You have been believers so long now that you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need someone to teach you again the basic things about God’s word. You are like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food. For someone who lives on milk is still an infant and doesn’t know how to do what is right. Solid food is for those who are mature, who through training have the skill to recognize the difference between right and wrong.

God works in us for the work He planned. We cannot complete His work, because we did not start it.

1 Chronicles 17:3-4 But it happened that night that the word of God came to Nathan, saying, “Go and tell My servant David, ‘Thus says the LORD: “You shall not build Me a house to dwell in. There is a difference between doing a good thing and a godly thing. David thought it was good for him to build a temple for God but God reminded him that He is the one who called him, he did not call himself. 1 Chronicles 17:7 Now therefore, thus shall you say to My servant David, ‘Thus says the LORD of hosts: “I took you from the sheepfold, from following the sheep, to be ruler over My people Israel.

God works in us for the work He planned. We cannot complete His work, because we did not start it. Philippians 1:6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

Whether the pastor is truthful or conduct himself wrongfully, at least the gospel is advanced. Judgement belongs to Christ.

Philippians 1:18 What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is preached; and in this I rejoice, yes, and will rejoice.

If you focus too much on others, you can miss correcting your own faults. You cannot carry the cross for others, salvation is personal. Luke 6:41  And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not perceive the plank in your own eye?

There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord.

1 Corinthians 12:4-11 There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

When situations come and you are founded in the Word, you’ll have an answer.

Don’t help the devil by confessing negative. Matthew 4:4 But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.'”There is a battle between God and our mind, be a master of your mind. When situations come and you are founded in the Word, you’ll have an answer.Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
