Don’t equate God’s ability to yours.

Our thinking can be a barrier to receiving from God. God is Spirit and must be served in spirit. His presence and ability is not limited to distance. 2 Kings 5:11 But Naaman became angry and stalked away. “I thought he would certainly come out to meet me!” he said. “I expected him to wave his hand over the leprosy and call on the name of the LORD his God and heal me!

When a man or woman of God makes declaration, the Word is brought to life. The world was created through the Word of God. God spoke and everything was created. Don’t limit God by your thinking.

Know your weakness and ask God to help you conquer them else they become like a spiritual cancer

Lukewarm Christians.

Titus 1:15-16 To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled. They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.

Light and darkness cannot exist together. We are the temple of the Holy Spirit. Wherever we go, we go with Him. When as a Christian, you partake in wrong things willingly, it’s like chocking the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 5:11 I meant that you are not to associate with anyone who claims to be a believer yet indulges in sexual sin, or is greedy, or worships idols, or is abusive, or is a drunkard, or cheats people. Don’t even eat with such people.

It is dangerous for you as a Christian to associate with somebody who is a Christian with one leg outside. It’s either you drag them in or they will drag you out. There is a difference between a churchgoer and one who have received Christ. There is a baby Christian and a mature Christian.

Hebrews 6:4-6 For it is impossible to bring back to repentance those who were once enlightened-those who have experienced the good things of heaven and shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the power of the age to come- and who then turn away from God. It is impossible to bring such people back to repentance; by rejecting the Son of God, they themselves are nailing him to the cross once again and holding him up to public shame.

On the contrary be there for unbelievers who still leave in sin because you might be their ticket to salvation. You cannot avoid having unbelievers around you. Continue to pray for the fallen brothers or sisters so they can receive grace and be renewed.

You can conform to the rules and activities of the church, Satan will seek the path of least resistance.

Making the Word a standard for your life and being prayerful are our best defense during attack. You cannot fight the devil if you don’t dwell in the Word. The bible is our sword that we must arm ourselves with to fight in the spiritual war fair.Ephesians 6:17-18 Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.

A prayerless life provides and entry for the spiritual life to be attacked. When Jesus was tempted by the devil in the wilderness after His forty days fast,He said “it is written”

Don’t pray for blessings, walk in His will, the blessing will follow. His’s got good plans for you.

Jeremiah 29:11-13 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.

There is someone crying for help out there. Be that someone who makes a difference.

The man at the pool of Bethesda, was around other sick people who came with their relatives and friends, they were standing there with this man, they got healed and moved on. For thirty eight years, no one was touched to help him.
John 5:5-7 One of the men lying there had been sick for thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him and knew he had been ill for a long time, he asked him, “Would you like to get well?” “I can’t, sir,” the sick man said, “for I have no one to put me into the pool when the water bubbles up. Someone else always gets there ahead of me.”

Can you imagine how painful it was for him to see people getting healed before him and all he wished was for somebody to consider him and help him jump to the pool. Some people are in a situation but can’t even talk because we are only capable of judging them than to lend a hand. Be the person who makes a difference, identify a family you can help with small groceries or take one child to school. 2 John 1:5 I am writing to remind you, dear friends, that we should love one another. This is not a new commandment, but one we have had from the beginning.

Blessed is the hand that gives.
