As a leader, you can’t be consistent with those you lead

The people you are leading are not always on the same level. So what you decide for a junior can’t be the same for a senior person. If you do, would it motivate them? Jesus dealt with people at the level where they were at. When people ran out of wine, he gave them wine. John 2:7-9 Jesus said to them, “Fill the waterpots with water.” And they filled them up to the brim. And He said to them, “Draw some out now, and take it to the master of the feast.” And they took it. When the master of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom.
You have to manage or lead in a way that suits the situation. Jesus was worried about their soul not their immediate weakness. John 2:11 This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him.
