Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Some ministers believes, praying for a person is about laying of hands only and nothing can be achieved by just uttering words and the same pastors asks that we pray for the country. How is our prayer changing and making an impact when we are not touching anything but standing in the gap and asking God to intervene. Ezekiel 37:3-4 And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” So I answered, “O Lord GOD, You know.” Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! Ezekiel was not asked to lay hands but to speak and declare and it was so. As a Christian have faith to walk in the supernatural power of God.
Sometimes jealousy stands in the way, instead let the gifts work together for the house of God. Ephesians 4:11-13 Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.
If everything within me can worship God, what can stop the Word from speaking to every part of me, how can my bones resist the power? Psalm 103:1 Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
