Luke 7:30 But the Pharisees and experts in religious law rejected God’s plan for them, for they had refused John’s baptism. Sometimes academics like it when they criticize the work of God and they receive applause for their skills in querying Christian practices. The excitement is good now but when judgement day comes, it will be one judged based on how they led the life while on earth. Jeremiah 8:9 These wise teachers will fall into the trap of their own foolishness, for they have rejected the word of the LORD. Are they so wise after all?
Even before you pray, I shall answer you. When you are in His will, blessings are given. There are things that we have and we never prayed for.
Isaiah 65:24 “It shall come to pass That before they call, I will answer; And while they are still speaking, I will hear.
A relationship is two-way. Take time to hear from God. There are things we just need direction on what to do and can’t hear the instructions if we are the one always talking.
Don’t let your mind stop you from experiencing God. When you use the carnal mind, you always look for supporting facts and if you apply that thinking in things of a God, you’ll miss a lot of things. 2 Kings 5:12 Aren’t the rivers of Damascus, the Abana and the Pharpar, better than any of the rivers of Israel? Why shouldn’t I wash in them and be healed?” So Naaman turned and went away in a rage.
People always look for tangible things. When a Word is declared, the first question is how that even going to happen. When Elisha declared a Word about the economic status of the country, the officer wanted reasons of how that can be possible and caused a curse on himself. 2 Kings 7:2 The officer assisting the king said to the man of God, “That couldn’t happen even if the LORD opened the windows of heaven!” But Elisha replied, “You will see it happen with your own eyes, but you won’t be able to eat any of it!
Today, people shy away from prophetic and deliverance ministries because they are used to just preaching and cannot believe that there are people that hear from God about their affairs.
