Christians know the Bible to a point that they can quote the scripture for you, what they lack is the power behind the Word. 1 Thessalonians 1:5 For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance, as you know what kind of men we were among you for your sake.
Ask God to reveal Himself to you. Understand that you are not serving man but him.
Psalm 150:6 Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!
Job 42:5 "I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, But now my eye sees You.
An experience with God will improve your faith. Pray for that personal experience so you can serve God faithfully.

A healthy body starts with a positive thinking. Un-forgiveness is a cousin of pride. To forgive, starts with understanding that when you forgive, you have nothing to loose and more to gain. When you are unable to forgive, it means your pride, talks to you more you can hear any other thing.
Nothing is new under earth. From the same challenge one commit suicide another comes out victorious and even write a book. God's promise is that, the challenges that comes our way will never be more than we can handle and that He will provide a way out. 1 Corinthians 10:13 The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.
In your problem, see a new opportunity. A problem is a problem because of how we look at it. If you focus on your problem, you won't even see what God is doing around you and solutions He provides. Luke 17:1 hen He said to the disciples, "It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come!
