There is a deeper purpose and meaning of the scriptures beyond what we read in the Bible.

Acts 8:29-31 The Holy Spirit said to Philip, "Go over and walk along beside the carriage." Philip ran over and heard the man reading from the prophet Isaiah. Philip asked, "Do you understand what you are reading?" The man replied, "How can I, unless someone instructs me?" And he urged Philip to come up into the carriage and sit with him.

Don't be hardened by religion like the Pharisees, be spiritual. The disciples walked with Jesus yet they did not know Him, only Peter had the revelation of who He was. Matthew 16:17 Jesus replied, "You are blessed, Simon son of John, because my Father in heaven has revealed this to you. You did not learn this from any human being.

We read and hear preaching about loving others, forgiveness, tithe and yet the true meaning of these things haven't been revealed to us hence it is easy for Christians to be in church and not talk to another. The true meaning of forgiveness hasn't been revealed to them. Pray that God reveals who you ought to be and what it means to be a Christian, then you will not be confused by people who want to make sense of scriptures using their effort.

We are spiritual beings with human experience. Beyond what we see, hear and feel, there is a super power. 1 Corinthians 2:14 But people who aren't spiritual can't receive these truths from God's Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and they can't understand it, for only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means.

David in his physical form, had a lot of mistakes that shouldn't have qualified him to be a person we look up to, beyond who he was, there was a man after God's heart.

I can see Canaan, the sun is shining.

Deuteronomy 32:49 Go to Moab, to the mountains east of the river, and climb Mount Nebo, which is across from Jericho. Look out across the land of Canaan, the land I am giving to the people of Israel as their own special possession.

Sometimes the difference between us and those who are rich is what we do with information at our disposal.
