The Great I Am

Isaiah 54:10 For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even then my faithful love for you will remain. My covenant of blessing will never be broken,” says the LORD, who has mercy on you.

In Christ we are purified.

If the word of God is alive in you, there are things that have to leave you. When you were still living your past life, there is so much wrong that you could have done but once the Light is shined upon you, God no longer look at you the same way. John 15:3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.

One of the plans of the devil is to remind you of your past. He is not coming with peace offering but his purpose is to condemn what has been purified. The devil doesn’t lose sleep because of those already in his camp, he use and dump as he moves along. John 10:10 The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.

Stand on the promise of the Word. Confess “I am Clean” not matter what the devil throws at you, you are a new creature in Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:17 This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!

All authority is from God.

You might not like your master but know that there is no authority that is not from God. Romans 13:1 Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.

Some leaders are just necessary for a short time, to take you to another level or for you to learn something from them during the time. Even that crooked manager, pastor or leader that you are currently submitting under, is necessary for a time. 1 Samuel 9:15-16 Now the LORD had told Samuel in his ear the day before Saul came, saying, “Tomorrow about this time I will send you a man from the land of Benjamin, and you shall anoint him commander over My people Israel, that he may save My people from the hand of the Philistines; for I have looked upon My people, because their cry has come to Me.”

Saul was not the ideal choice but, he was still an ordained leader anointed to save the Israelites from the Philistines. David knew that fighting Saul was like fighting God himself or questioning God. He was tempted to act but got so far as cutting a piece from Saul’s robe. That action alone gave him no peace. 1 Samuel 24:5-6 Now it happened afterward that David’s heart troubled him because he had cut Saul’s robe. And he said to his men, “The LORD forbid that I should do this thing to my master, the LORD’s anointed, to stretch out my hand against him, seeing he is the anointed of the LORD.”

Calling

When saying “Yes” Lord, know what you are signing up for. The main thing of saying Yes, is that you are declaring war with the kingdom of darkness. From that point on, know that the devil will be on your case. Isaiah 6:8 Then I heard the Lord asking, “Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?” I said, “Here I am. Send me.”

This year has been a difficult year for me spiritually. I have served the best way I know how and been taught but there was just so much challenges at church. One thing I keep reminding myself is that these people are not my enemy, they just happen to available to be used in the fight by the devil. 1 Peter 2:20-21 Of course, you get no credit for being patient if you are beaten for doing wrong. But if you suffer for doing good and endure it patiently, God is pleased with you. For God called you to do good, even if it means suffering, just as Christ suffered for you. He is your example, and you must follow in his steps.

Satan is more concerned about to tomorrow, who you are going to be as it was declared in heaven. He knows this who are going to cause him pain. He is being proactive and will try by all means to delay or to stop you. Focus on the Cross, do not be moved to the left no to the right.
