Don’t loose your mind by focusing on negative things you can’t change.

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

There are two principles of the Gospel

1. Love God

2. Love the next person as yourself

Matthew 22:37-40 Jesus replied, “‘You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.”

Because love conquers all.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

Pray in private

Prayer is between you and God. Before you pray, believe that Jesus is working out the answer. Not receiving our answer instantly, affect most relationship with God and that’s the weapon the devil use to attack Christians.

Matthew 6:6 But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.

How we pray and why we pray, determines the answer to our prayer. Sometimes we offer prayers in demand than a deeper understanding of who we offer the prayer to. Romans 8:26-27 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.

False Prophets

False prophet are prophets because they also have visions, the difference is the source. It will be unfortunate to find yourself serving under one. Instead of them taking you to your destiny, you’ll server their purpose. They are all about gain than rescuing soul and preaching the Gospel. Micah 3:5 This is what the LORD says: “You false prophets are leading my people astray! You promise peace for those who give you food, but you declare war on those who refuse to feed you. The love we have for servants sometimes blinds us even when the Lord show us signs. Character never lies. One can act the calling but the character always give away their true nature. Because they have spiritual gifts, people go around collecting curses pronounced by these prophets in the process.

Matthew 7:15-20 “Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves. You can identify them by their fruit, that is, by the way they act. Can you pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? A good tree produces good fruit, and a bad tree produces bad fruit. A good tree can’t produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can’t produce good fruit. So every tree that does not produce good fruit is chopped down and thrown into the fire. Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions. What happened to church as a place of love, a refuge for the broken hearted, a place for help and restoration? Because of their false act, they are more capable of hurting than loving. Most will defend false prophets with all they have till the day God removes the scale and they see the truth of who they were serving under. Unfortunately by that time, a lot of emotional damage would have been done. Their presence also confirms to the presence of the true ones. Jeremiah 5:30-31 A horrible and shocking thing has happened in this land- the prophets give false prophecies, and the priests rule with an iron hand. Worse yet, my people like it that way! But what will you do when the end comes?

Ask the Lord o open your eyes so you can see, ears so you can hear. God always speaks.

“Did God really say that”

The voice I wish I never heard. We all have things that we did, which we are not proud of. Other thing we do and immediately regret because it’s not in us to do what we have done. Romans 7:21-23 I have discovered this principle of life-that when I want to do what is right, I inevitably do what is wrong. I love God’s law with all my heart. But there is another power within me that is at war with my mind. This power makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me.

No matter how frustrated you become with man and woman of God or church, stay close to His Word

Instead of church being a loving and peaceful house, there is always a chance of getting hurt in church. Servants of God are human capable of hurting. When our focus move from God and they become our center, we become vulnerable to offense. The biggest mistake you can ever make is to leave church and stay away from the Word. Joshua 1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. God and his Word are one. The formula to fight, is in the Word. Satan’s plan is to take away the truth far from you. Jesus, in his physical form also depended on the Word when faced with temptation. Matthew 4:4 But Jesus told him, “No! The Scriptures say, ‘People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.'”
