Ephesians 4:17-19 This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

The way of the righteous.

People will have their own opinions, they must not influence your decisions this festive season. Be founded in the Word. Psalm 1:3 They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do.

Don’t loose what you have because of what you don’t have. There will be temporary pleasures but they will take you further than you want to go.

Get one or two books and feed your mind this December and above all make The Bible your friend.

Joshua 1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Jeremiah 15:16 When your words came, I ate them; they were my joy and my heart’s delight, for I bear your name, Lord God Almighty.

Don’t loose your birthright because of a temporary desire.

God is more than capable of giving us what we need and He knows what is good for us. Genesis 25:29-34 Now Jacob cooked a stew; and Esau came in from the field, and he was weary. And Esau said to Jacob, “Please feed me with that same red stew, for I am weary.” Therefore his name was called Edom. But Jacob said, “Sell me your birthright as of this day.” And Esau said, “Look, I am about to die; so what is this birthright to me?” Then Jacob said, “Swear to me as of this day.” So he swore to him, and sold his birthright to Jacob. And Jacob gave Esau bread and stew of lentils; then he ate and drank, arose, and went his way. Thus Esau despised his birthright.

Many are so eager to succeed that they can’t wait for normal process and go to the extent of bribing their way to what they want. Today we pray to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob instead of God of Abraham, Isaac and Esau because Esau allowed a temporary feeling to influence his decision.

Operating with the anointing of your leader.

Numbers 11:17 I will come down and talk to you there. I will take some of the Spirit that is upon you, and I will put the Spirit upon them also. They will bear the burden of the people along with you, so you will not have to carry it alone. God took some of of Moses’ spirit not all. Even though you are called, as you serve under your leader, there are things that you’ll be able to do because of the anointing of your leader. There is order in spiritual things. If God can allow you to do the certain things your leader does, you more luckily to grow wings. Matthew 10:24 “A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. As leader you are critical as an assistant but never think you and your mentor are on the same level. Once you are released, your mentor will impact spiritual gifts for you to continue ministering and serving God’s people. Remember that you are being prepared for the work ahead.

Joshua only started doing great things after Moses retired

People want to be seen and don’t understand that you can make an impact silently.

Relationships are destroyed because people want to be prominent. John did not ask why Peter used singularity while they were sent together. Acts 3:6 But Peter said, “I don’t have any silver or gold for you. But I’ll give you what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, get up and walk!”. If you don’t know what you are good at, you will be jealous.
