When you overlook what God is doing around you, you’ll miss the opportunities that are meant to advance you.

What are you doing now that your lineage will benefit from?

2 Samuel 9:6-7 Now when Mephibosheth the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, had come to David, he fell on his face and prostrated himself. Then David said, “Mephibosheth?” And he answered, “Here is your servant!” So David said to him, “Do not fear, for I will surely show you kindness for Jonathan your father’s sake, and will restore to you all the land of Saul your grandfather; and you shall eat bread at my table continually.”

God declared blessings and to multiply Abraham’ descendants. His children were blessed because of his faithfulness. Genesis 22:15-17 Then the Angel of the LORD called to Abraham a second time out of heaven, and said: “By Myself I have sworn, says the LORD, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son- blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies.

There is also the adverse results of not doing good. Your lineage will be affected by your decisions today long after you are gone. Your carelessness might not affect you now but your children maybe affected by you actions today. Deuteronomy 5:8-9 “You must not make for yourself an idol of any kind, or an image of anything in the heavens or on the earth or in the sea. You must not bow down to them or worship them, for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God who will not tolerate your affection for any other gods. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children; the entire family is affected-even children in the third and fourth generations of those who reject me.

Blessing at the right time

It will be difficult for you as a Christian to tell those outside that you are blessed because you are child of God when the see you leaving from hand to mouth. Remain faithful because at the right time, God will release His blessings. Deuteronomy 28:12 The LORD will send rain at the proper time from his rich treasury in the heavens and will bless all the work you do. You will lend to many nations, but you will never need to borrow from them.

We must learn endure. Many move from church to church, looking for that powerful man or woman of God to prophesy good things about their lives mostly because of impatience. God made a promise and He will not change. Sometimes we delay ourselves because of why we need things not that God can’t do it for us. Jacob was born a leader but tried to cheat to gain what was already declared as result he went and stayed with Laban where he had to labor unnecessarily. He delayed what was promised in the beginning. Genesis 25:23 And the LORD told her, “The sons in your womb will become two nations. From the very beginning, the two nations will be rivals. One nation will be stronger than the other; and your older son will serve your younger son.”

You cannot receive spiritual things when you are carnal.

2 Kings 3:17 For thus says the LORD: ‘You shall not see wind, nor shall you see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, so that you, your cattle, and your animals may drink.’
As long as you are reasoning how it will happen, you won’t take that first step. God’s plan is to prosper us and good health. What you hear and what you see must lift up your faith. Meditate on it.

Don’t pray for blessings, walk in His will, the blessing will follow. His’s got good plans for you.

Jeremiah 29:11-13 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.

You cannot curse one who is blessed from above.

There are hustlers and there are those ordained with blessings from above. Hustlers have to work hard for their success but those ordained for wealth find favor because there is anointing in what they do.

Numbers 22:12 But God told Balaam, “Do not go with them. You are not to curse these people, for they have been blessed!”

Numbers 22:12 But God told Balaam, “Do not go with them. You are not to curse these people, for they have been blessed!”

There is a place where God has portioned blessings and favor for you.

Genesis 49:10 The scepter shall not depart from Judah, Nor a lawgiver from between his feet, Until Shiloh comes; And to Him shall be the obedience of the people. Good things were declared unto Judah but when there was famine, Elimelech and his wife Naomi left to Moab, a place that was cursed. Elimelech and his sons died there and Naomi returned to Judah. On her return she was blessed in Judah again.

It might seem like a bad places for now because of what you see but God is still preparing you or the place. When you are in a perfect marriage ordained from heaven, there are times you’ll feel you made a mistake but later the person turns to be the best thing you can ever ask from God.

Jeremiah 24:5 “Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: ‘Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge those who are carried away captive from Judah, whom I have sent out of this place for their own good, into the land of the Chaldeans.

God can allow a company to dismiss you to save you from what is coming.
