False Prophets

The coming of the prophets is written in the Bible yet people who go to church act surprised. We aught to have prepared church for this coming. Matthew 24:24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

Why stand on the pulpit and speak bad about prophetic and deliverance ministries because there are false prophets. Is it because the pastors also don’t know how to tell between a true and a false prophet? Teach people Word don’t use it to divide the house of God. All these Gift should work together for the good of the church.

When church is divided, the devil prospers.

Jesus’s ministry is not only preaching.

Luke 6:18 They had come to hear him and to be healed of their diseases; and those troubled by evil spirits were healed.

He healed the sick, cast out demons and performed many miracles. When He left, He left us the Holy Spirit that enables us to continue with His ministry. Where the Holy Spirit is present, all this signs follows.

Ephesians 4:11-12 Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ.

All these gifts are to work together for the good of the Church not fight each other. Today, people talk negative about deliverance ministry. Wherever Jesus went, people brought people who were sick and demon possessed. What must happen to this kind today if this ministry is denounced. The fact that we believe some are using the vulnerability of people need for their benefit, does not mean the work must stop.

Luke 24:49 “And now I will send the Holy Spirit, just as my Father promised. But stay here in the city until the Holy Spirit comes and fills you with power from heaven.”

The Holy Spirit cannot be at a place and be idle. Those who believe confirms their preaching with the signs. Mark 16:20 And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.

God’s intervention through a prophet.

People criticize because man’s nature is that there must be facts to what you are saying to be believed. Many wonders why people flock to prophetic and deliverance ministries. When God does things through His servants, things that you know are humanly impossible, whatever people say, that testimony is all you need.

1 Kings 17:8-14 Then the LORD said to Elijah, [9] “Go and live in the village of Zarephath, near the city of Sidon. I have instructed a widow there to feed you.” [10] So he went to Zarephath. As he arrived at the gates of the village, he saw a widow gathering sticks, and he asked her, “Would you please bring me a little water in a cup?” [11] As she was going to get it, he called to her, “Bring me a bite of bread, too.” [12] But she said, “I swear by the LORD your God that I don’t have a single piece of bread in the house. And I have only a handful of flour left in the jar and a little cooking oil in the bottom of the jug. I was just gathering a few sticks to cook this last meal, and then my son and I will die.” [13] But Elijah said to her, “Don’t be afraid! Go ahead and do just what you’ve said, but make a little bread for me first. Then use what’s left to prepare a meal for yourself and your son. [14] For this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: There will always be flour and olive oil left in your containers until the time when the LORD sends rain and the crops grow again!”

Jesus wanted to maintain a low profile so he can go around preaching freely.

Mark 1:23-25 Now there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit. And he cried out, saying, “Let us alone! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are-the Holy One of God!” But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be quiet, and come out of him!”

When the demon tried to speak to Jesus, he commanded it not talk, not because it’s wrong to speak to a demon but He did not want the demon to say who He was. He said the same to leper who was not demon possessed. The instruction not to talk about him was because he did not want attention. The leper decided to testify about what happened as result, Jesus could not enter city.

Mark 1:45 However, he went out and began to proclaim it freely, and to spread the matter, so that Jesus could no longer openly enter the city, but was outside in deserted places; and they came to Him from every direction.

Those doing deliverance often speak to the demon possessed to find out what was the weakness that the person had that created a loophole for the spirit to enter him or her. This is also done so people can learn and avoid same mistakes. Because Jesus did allow the demon to speak, this is often used to criticize those doing deliverance. Those who criticize often don’t do deliverance in their ministries. What does this say about Jesus and his ministry, if he commanded his disciples to go out preaching, healing and cast out demons.

The different gifts are supposed to complement each other for the good of the house of God.

God heals, deliver and bless as He wills.

Luke 4:25-27 “Certainly there were many needy widows in Israel in Elijah’s time, when the heavens were closed for three and a half years, and a severe famine devastated the land. Yet Elijah was not sent to any of them. He was sent instead to a foreigner-a widow of Zarephath in the land of Sidon. And many in Israel had leprosy in the time of the prophet Elisha, but the only one healed was Naaman, a Syrian.”

When there is a declaration at church, we all shout “Amen” and few will come with a testimony. When a pastor preaches at a sermon attended by hundreds or thousand, no matter how powerful the message was, few will run with it and to others, it was just information.

You can go to any ministry where there is deliverance, you’ll find people who are members, who you’ll wonder why the man or woman of God doesn’t deliver them. It is not their decision but God.

Exodus 33:19 The LORD replied, “I will make all my goodness pass before you, and I will call out my name, Yahweh, before you. For I will show mercy to anyone I choose, and I will show compassion to anyone I choose.

Don’t limit the Holy Spirit.

If there is harmony in churches and we believe in the works that Jesus did, why are we not experiencing the move of the Holy Spirit? Mark 16:17-18 These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages. They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.”

If all churches are following Christ, He promised his presence there. The Holy Spirit cannot be present in a place and be idle. Matthew 18:19-20 “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

In the world, when one follows another person, they emulate their leader. Why are churches divided on what Jesus did?

Have faith in God, believe God.

Nothing stands in the way of the Word of God not even distance is a barrier.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Some ministers believes, praying for a person is about laying of hands only and nothing can be achieved by just uttering words and the same pastors asks that we pray for the country. How is our prayer changing and making an impact when we are not touching anything but standing in the gap and asking God to intervene. Ezekiel 37:3-4 And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” So I answered, “O Lord GOD, You know.” Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! Ezekiel was not asked to lay hands but to speak and declare and it was so. As a Christian have faith to walk in the supernatural power of God.

Sometimes jealousy stands in the way, instead let the gifts work together for the house of God. Ephesians 4:11-13 Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.

If everything within me can worship God, what can stop the Word from speaking to every part of me, how can my bones resist the power? Psalm 103:1 Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name!

Operating in the supernatural power of God.

Job 32:8 But there is a spirit in man, And the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding. When you are operating in your spiritual office, you must be led by the spirit. Understand that it is not your doing but God. Zechariah 4:6 So he answered and said to me: “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the LORD of hosts.

As a servant of God who does deliverance, you are able to walk around people without anyone manifesting but once you enter your spiritual office demons are unable to be next to you. Luke 4:36 Then they were all amazed and spoke among themselves, saying, “What a word this is! For with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out.” When you acknowledge the Holy Spirit’s presence and that He is in charge, things just happens. When ministering at prayer line the people you were able to stand with now can’t stand your presence and can’t be at close proximity.
The man who was demon-possessed upon seeing Jesus, he ran to Him. Mark 5:6-7 When he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and worshiped Him. And he cried out with a loud voice and said, “What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore You by God that You do not torment me.”

What caused Elisha’s bones to raise a man from death.

What is impossible with man, is possible with God. Genesis 41:38 And Pharaoh said to his servants, “Can we find such a one as this, a man in whom is the Spirit of God?”

The Spirit in a man, allows him to move in the supernatural. That same spirit, can heal your sickness today no matter what the doctors said. 2 Kings 13:20-21 Then Elisha died and was buried. Groups of Moabite raiders used to invade the land each spring. Once when some Israelites were burying a man, they spied a band of these raiders. So they hastily threw the corpse into the tomb of Elisha and fled. But as soon as the body touched Elisha’s bones, the dead man revived and jumped to his feet!

He sent forth His Word to heal us.

Psalm 107:20 He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions. God’s creation came through the Word and nothing was created without Him. His desire is for us to live a healthy life. John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
There is power in the name of Jesus, to heal and to deliver. That is a promise from God. Acts 3:16 “Through faith in the name of Jesus, this man was healed-and you know how crippled he was before. Faith in Jesus’ name has healed him before your very eyes.
