Trust God even if it seems impossible.

God promised not to leave us no forsake us but every time we are intimidated, we forget all the promises and what he has done. Let the Word stay in your heart so your faith can be increased and the Word speak during situations of desperation.1 Kings 19:2-4 So Jezebel sent this message to Elijah: “May the gods strike me and even kill me if by this time tomorrow I have not killed you just as you killed them.” Elijah was afraid and fled for his life. He went to Beersheba, a town in Judah, and he left his servant there. Then he went on alone into the wilderness, traveling all day. He sat down under a solitary broom tree and prayed that he might die. “I have had enough, LORD,” he said. “Take my life, for I am no better than my ancestors who have already died.”

After Elijah killed all 850 false prophets, when he heard that Jezebel want to kill him, he forgot what God just did through him. If you say God rather take you now, do you know where you are going?

Doubt your doubt not God.

Doubt your doubt not God.

Trusting in God is by faith. A lot believe there is God somewhere, we just need an experience with Him. As a believer, there are situations that will make you doubt His existence but the situation must draw you closer not further away from Him. Exodus 33:13 If it is true that you look favorably on me, let me know your ways so I may understand you more fully and continue to enjoy your favor. And remember that this nation is your very own people.”
I pray for an experience with God because that experience will increase your faith. There must be something that you experienced to make you trust God’s existence.

Don’t doubt God, doubt yourself

Judges 6:13 Gideon said to Him, “O my lord, if the LORD is with us, why then has all this happened to us? And where are all His miracles which our fathers told us about, saying, ‘Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt?’ But now the LORD has forsaken us and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.”

When you are faced with a new challenge, doubt can creep in. Don’t doubt God, doubt yourself. Let your doubt bring you closer to God not away from Him. Judges 6:17-18 Then he said to Him, “If now I have found favor in Your sight, then show me a sign that it is You who talk with me. Do not depart from here, I pray, until I come to You and bring out my offering and set it before You.” And He said, “I will wait until you come back.”

When hard times comes, what is your confession?

One of the devil’s destructive weapon, is to get us to curse God. Doubt is good if it brings you closer to God but it is sin if it moves you away from God. Job 3:11 “Why wasn’t I born dead? Why didn’t I die as I came from the womb?

As Christians we must learn that every situation you are in, God is in it and He has given the green light. Always remember that God allows situations for his glory. When the devil plans to destroy, God will come and whisk us away. If all were to go right in our life, we won’t see a reason to praise God.

Romans 5:3-5 We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

Not all problems are bad for us. Some are the ones that bring us closer to God.

When hard times comes, what is your confession.

Let your doubt bring you closer to God not away from Him

Judges 6:13 Gideon said to Him, “O my lord, if the LORD is with us, why then has all this happened to us? And where are all His miracles which our fathers told us about, saying, ‘Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt?’ But now the LORD has forsaken us and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.”

Someone who is full of faith says thank you before the miracle happens.

As long as Peter was focusing on Jesus, it was possible for him to walk on water.

Matthew 14:29-30 “Yes, come,” Jesus said. So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. But when he saw the strong wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink. “Save me, Lord!” he shouted.

Because of doubt, you can offer prayers that are based on fear.

Be like David, your experience with God must help you in situations that confronts you.

1 Samuel 17:34-35 But David said to Saul, “Your servant used to keep his father’s sheep, and when a lion or a bear came and took a lamb out of the flock, I went out after it and struck it, and delivered the lamb from its mouth; and when it arose against me, I caught it by its beard, and struck and killed it.

When God made a promise to you, the devil will bring situations in your life to make you doubt God.

Matthew 14:28-30 And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!”

You cannot deliver somebody who is demon possessed or heal a sick person if you yourself have doubt. A demon can read into your doubt.

Luke 9:38-41 Suddenly a man from the multitude cried out, saying, “Teacher, I implore You, look on my son, for he is my only child. And behold, a spirit seizes him, and he suddenly cries out; it convulses him so that he foams at the mouth; and it departs from him with great difficulty, bruising him. So I implored Your disciples to cast it out, but they could not.” Then Jesus answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you and bear with you? Bring your son here.”

We have been given authority over demons and spirit of boldness. Luke 9:1 Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases. We must learn to exercise the power and authority we have over demons and sickness. 2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Doubts become sin if it leads you away from God.

Judges 6:36-37 Then Gideon said to God, “If you are truly going to use me to rescue Israel as you promised, [37] prove it to me in this way. I will put a wool fleece on the threshing floor tonight. If the fleece is wet with dew in the morning but the ground is dry, then I will know that you are going to help me rescue Israel as you promised.”
