Your first prayer reached heaven, have faith and believe that God is aware of your needs.

Daniel 10:12 Then he said, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer.

Appreciate your current situation but see beyond it and believe that it is possible to live a comfortable life.

Serve faithfully on your current position no matter how low it might be. As a follower be faithful to your leader. To be great leader be the best servant. Luke 16:10-12 “If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities. And if you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth, who will trust you with the true riches of heaven? And if you are not faithful with other people’s things, why should you be trusted with things of your own?

We have been given authority.

Jesus was disappointed that men lack the necessary faith to release the power that has been given to them. Luke 9:39-41 An evil spirit keeps seizing him, making him scream. It throws him into convulsions so that he foams at the mouth. It batters him and hardly ever leaves him alone. I begged your disciples to cast out the spirit, but they couldn’t do it.” Jesus said, “You faithless and corrupt people! How long must I be with you and put up with you?” Then he said to the man, “Bring your son here.”

It is painful to lead people who don’t see where you are going.

As a man or woman of God, even as you speak and declare deliverance, the people shout “Amen”, the painful part is that, many still believe the problems they came with, is still affecting them. They will not be happy until you lay hands on them. Numbers 11:29 But Moses replied, “Are you jealous for my sake? I wish that all the LORD’s people were prophets and that the LORD would put his Spirit upon them all!” There are people with potential yet have declared themselves worthless because of their circumstances .

Calling the name of Jesus in vain.

The devil can identify a faithless prayer. You cannot deliver a demon when you don’t have faith on the name you are using. If we are all calling the name of Jesus, we should see results.

Acts 19:13-15 Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists took it upon themselves to call the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, “We exorcise you by the Jesus whom Paul preaches.” Also there were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, who did so. And the evil spirit answered and said, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?”

Trust God even if it seems impossible.

God promised not to leave us no forsake us but every time we are intimidated, we forget all the promises and what he has done. Let the Word stay in your heart so your faith can be increased and the Word speak during situations of desperation.1 Kings 19:2-4 So Jezebel sent this message to Elijah: “May the gods strike me and even kill me if by this time tomorrow I have not killed you just as you killed them.” Elijah was afraid and fled for his life. He went to Beersheba, a town in Judah, and he left his servant there. Then he went on alone into the wilderness, traveling all day. He sat down under a solitary broom tree and prayed that he might die. “I have had enough, LORD,” he said. “Take my life, for I am no better than my ancestors who have already died.”

After Elijah killed all 850 false prophets, when he heard that Jezebel want to kill him, he forgot what God just did through him. If you say God rather take you now, do you know where you are going?

Doubt your doubt not God.

Faith requires action.

A hungry person does not need prayer, he need food. When a person is hungry, you cannot say let’s pray. First sort out the hunger then the scripture will make sense.James 2:15-17 Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, and you say, “Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well”-but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do? So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless.
