Moses asked God “Who should I say sent me” God said, tell the people who I am is not conceivable. God did not want Moses to be limited in understanding who He is. Exodus 3:14 And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.'”
John 6:60-61 Therefore many of His disciples, when they heard this, said, “This is a hard saying; who can understand it?” When Jesus knew in Himself that His disciples complained about this, He said to them, “Does this offend you? Every time you want to complain, remember that God is aware. Not that you must be scared of him but remember that He knows your pain and He can take it away any time. God trust that you will look up to Him for strength in times of hardship. 2 Corinthians 12:9 Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. Murmuring is no different from lack of faith and trust to towards God. It’s like saying God is not capable. After all God has done for the Israelites, they continued to complain and God was angry with them. Numbers 11:1 Soon the people began to complain about their hardship, and the LORD heard everything they said. Then the LORD’s anger blazed against them, and he sent a fire to rage among them, and he destroyed some of the people in the outskirts of the camp.
Church has become a laughing stock, pastors using the pulpit for personal gain. We need to repent and restore our relationship with God for a better tomorrow. Deuteronomy 31:16,18 The LORD said to Moses, “You are about to die and join your ancestors. After you are gone, these people will begin to worship foreign gods, the gods of the land where they are going. They will abandon me and break my covenant that I have made with them. At that time I will hide my face from them on account of all the evil they commit by worshiping other gods.
Whenever people turn away from God, terrible things happens to them. Today you hear topics where people discuss if God really exist and we are surprised why so many bad unexplainable things happens in our society. Others find pleasure in ridiculing God’s elect.
Ever wondered why God did not take away Moses stammering problem, God trust His designs. What we call problem or challenge in our lives, God will be glorified through it. There are certain problems no matter how much you pray about them, they are not going anywhere. 1 Corinthians 10:13 The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.
No problem is too hard for God to resolve. When situations that will be above your capability comes, God will come through. Luke 22:31-32 And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.”
John 17:24 “Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.
You cannot go to Christ minus God, you cannot go to God minus Christ.
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
A lot of time we resign ourselves to situations because of the information we have. Always remember that there is you and there is God. 2 Kings 5:11 But Naaman became angry and stalked away. “I thought he would certainly come out to meet me!” he said. “I expected him to wave his hand over the leprosy and call on the name of the LORD his God and heal me! There is a person who knows tomorrow. There is nothing that we can tell God that He does not know. There are situations where because of what we know, we tell ourselves that it’s not possible. Famous quote “I don’t have money to do this”. We must learn to trust God on situations that seem impossible. You cannot grow faith by trusting a God on things you can do on your own.
Look at that mountain and start walking boldly towards it and leave the rest to God. You need the “I can do it” mentality when walking with God. Forget what you know about the mountain and trust what you know about a God. Genesis 22:8 “God will provide a sheep for the burnt offering, my son,” Abraham answered. And they both walked on together.
A child believes the parent can handle any situation before them. They trust their parent wholeheartedly.
Let us approach God with the mind of a child in situations that seems impossible.
Sometimes problems are not the real problem but how we see them is the problem. There are people who will go to hospital to visit the sick and as soon as they see the person, they exclaim “I did not know you are in this bad state” Just hearing those comments can finish you. Mark 5:35-37 While he was still speaking to her, messengers arrived from the home of Jairus, the leader of the synagogue. They told him, “Your daughter is dead. There’s no use troubling the Teacher now.” But Jesus overheard them and said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid. Just have faith.” Then Jesus stopped the crowd and wouldn’t let anyone go with him except Peter, James, and John (the brother of James).
There is what people say about your situation, what you say about it and God’s view about.
