John 10:30 I and My Father are one.” The simple way of understanding the trinity, God, The Son, and the Holy Spirit as one, is to think of yourself. You are either a Father, Child, Brother, and Cousin in different circumstances but all refers to you.

Colossians 1:15-16 Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see- such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.

Revelation 19:13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.

The Holy Spirit sets us apart

There are a lot of people moving around confessing their Christianity but to most, it’s outside and transformation has not reached their heart. Pray that you receive the Holy Spirit because that will make you a true Christian. The Samaritans accepted God’s message, they were baptized but something was still missing. Acts 8:16-17 The Holy Spirit had not yet come upon any of them, for they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then Peter and John laid their hands upon these believers, and they received the Holy Spirit.
There must be something about their character that made Paul wonder if they receive the Holy Spirit. You cannot receive the Holy Spirit and reman the same. Acts 19:2 “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” he asked them. “No,” they replied, “we haven’t even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.”

Don’t choke the Holy Spirit.

If you are conscious of the fact that the Holy Spirit is in you, there are things you wouldn’t  dare do. Knowing that every time you do them, you are choking Him. 1 Corinthians 6:19 Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself.

If the presence of the Holy Spirit leaves you, you become vulnerable and that is exactly what Satan is looking for.

Judges 16:20 Then she cried out, “Samson! The Philistines have come to capture you!” When he woke up, he thought, “I will do as before and shake myself free.” But he didn’t realize the LORD had left him. There are things that you are able to do and excellent in it because the Holy Spirit is with you. Never loose that. 1 Samuel 16:14 But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and a distressing spirit from the LORD troubled him.

You can’t fellowship with the Holy Spirit and find yourself in wrong places or be discussing things that are contrary to the Word of God.

Acts 19:1-2 While Apollos was in Corinth, Paul traveled through the interior regions until he reached Ephesus, on the coast, where he found several believers. “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” he asked them. “No,” they replied, “we haven’t even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.”

When you have fellowship with Him, He is always with you. If consume alcohol, smoke, engage in wrong discussions, you are chocking Him. Paul was Surpprised when he met believers and questioned if the received the Holy Spirit because what he saw is not what he expected from Christians.

2 Corinthians 13:14 May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
In your fellowship don’t ignore Him as He tries to have a conversation with you, correcting and guiding you.

Ask God for the Spirit to lead you else you’ll be a stubborn Christian.

When Jesus was about to leave the disciples 3 things happened.

1. He blessed them

2. Instructed them to remain in Jerusalem.

3. They were to wait for the Holy Spirit to be upon them.

It is dangerous to start a ministry without being led by the Spirit. 1 Corinthians 2:10-11 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.
