Be sober when dealing with people

Seek the mind of a God about a situation, what God calls the other person, what is God’s opinion about the situation. The Bible warn us not to judge because God knows that we use our carnal mind in judging. Hosea 1:2 When the LORD first began speaking to Israel through Hosea, he said to him, “Go and marry a prostitute, so that some of her children will be conceived in prostitution. This will illustrate how Israel has acted like a prostitute by turning against the LORD and worshiping other gods.”What we think about a situation and what our eyes shows us is not always the true reflection of things. We judge because of what we heard, what we saw but the person could have repented already and they could be in the perfect will of God.

The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men

Romans 1:26-27 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

The way you respond to those who hurt you, can put you in trouble with God.

Obadiah 1:10 “For violence against your brother Jacob, Shame shall cover you, And you shall be cut off forever.

We can learn a lot from how David dealt with Saul. Though Saul always looked for an opportunity to strike David, when the opportunity arose for David to strike him, he understood that there things he can but the consequences will be serious. 1 Samuel 26:9 But David said to Abishai, “Do not destroy him; for who can stretch out his hand against the LORD’s anointed, and be guiltless?”

As Christian never do wrong to fix the wrong that happened

Never take God’s position when it comes judgement. Don’t be overcome by evil. Romans 12:17-21 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

When a person wrong you and you react to it, God can punish you for reacting instead because He taught you to respond not react.
When you are hurt, cry to him.

There is an old saying that goes like “Don’t judge a book by its cover”

Luke 16:15 He said to them, “You are the ones who justify yourselves in the eyes of others, but God knows your hearts. What people value highly is detestable in God’s sight.

What we know and see can be deceiving and can affect the way we appreciate men and women of God that we come across. Acts 4:13 When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.
