Nowadays you are more likely to be hurt in Church by fellow congregants or the pastor because we are ignorant of the powers and principalities that operates around us.

Ephesians 6:11-12 Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Once you make a decision to follow Jesus, know that, that on its own is a challenge to the devil kingdom. No businessman is excited to see his customers leaving him. Church should be a place of refuge, filled with love but the devil has infiltrated it because we have made a gathering. 1 Peter 5:8-9 Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith. Remember that your family of believers all over the world is going through the same kind of suffering you are.

Don’t fight the people around you, there is a real enemy, Satan. Pray without ceasing, any gap is enough for Satan to attack.

It’s not that the rich are more wiser than us, there are simple things like giving and loving others that are principles of God.

Luke 6:38 Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full-pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.”

A hand that is holding something is not fully capable of receiving. An open palm is ready to receive. As you give more is given to you. God has no hands, He uses people. Live at peace with those around you, you never know who God will use as a channel of blessings. Do everything without expecting a reward. God is the rewarder. Romans 12:18 Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone.

Loving others requires of us to understand that God created us different.

1 Corinthians 13:13 Three things will last forever-faith, hope, and love-and the greatest of these is love. Don’t let difference in viewpoint collapse relationships. Jesus demonstrated tolerance by welcoming Judas to His table. There are those you must love but keep at a distance to avoid offense. Love ultimately wins souls. Friendships and families are broken because one want to push his stance on an idea. We will not always agree but we must learn to maintain relationships.

If we always agree, one is irrelevant. Difference in viewpoint is what makes us strong. Alone you walk fast, together we go far.

Hebrews 10:24-25 Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.
