Hebrews 13:1-3 Let brotherly love continue. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels. Remember the prisoners as if chained with them-those who are mistreated-since you yourselves are in the body also.
1 John 4:16 We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.
The man at the pool of Bethesda, was around other sick people who came with their relatives and friends, they were standing there with this man, they got healed and moved on. For thirty eight years, no one was touched to help him.
John 5:5-7 One of the men lying there had been sick for thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him and knew he had been ill for a long time, he asked him, “Would you like to get well?” “I can’t, sir,” the sick man said, “for I have no one to put me into the pool when the water bubbles up. Someone else always gets there ahead of me.”
Can you imagine how painful it was for him to see people getting healed before him and all he wished was for somebody to consider him and help him jump to the pool. Some people are in a situation but can’t even talk because we are only capable of judging them than to lend a hand. Be the person who makes a difference, identify a family you can help with small groceries or take one child to school. 2 John 1:5 I am writing to remind you, dear friends, that we should love one another. This is not a new commandment, but one we have had from the beginning.
Blessed is the hand that gives.
Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.
Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness.
The heart I hidden far away inside the ribs but we can till see its state with its fruits. Imagine if we were able to see it.
You can say you love me but the action when you are not happy with me determines the true love towards me.
Jesus had to ask Peter twice if he loves him because he expected him to behave in a certain way. John 21:15 So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Feed My lambs.”
No one is born a bad person. Remove the devil and see God in a person. Ephesians 6:12 For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
John 21:18 “I tell you the truth, when you were young, you were able to do as you liked; you dressed yourself and went wherever you wanted to go. But when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and others will dress you and take you where you don’t want to go.”
When you have love it’s easy to accept people the way they are and be patient with them. Love is first on the fruit of the spirit. Once you have love patient comes by default.Galatians 5:22-26 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
