Three things we must care for in us: The heart, the mind, and the tongue.

The devil cannot use what you don’t have.

There is something in each one of us that the devil can use. The devil could not tempt Jesus because sin does not leave in Him. The devil does not give us evil desires, he just exploit the weakness that already exist. James 1:14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed.
An idle mind is an undisciplined mind, a wondering mind. An idling mind become easy target to evil thoughts. Don’t let your mind wonder about thinking abound whatever it wishes. Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy-meditate on these things.

Think about positive things.

If you don’t control your mind, it will control you.

Renew your mind by feeding it with the Word. You don’t need people to bring you down. You, Yourself and your mind is enough to destroy you. Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. If you are hungry and your mind is empty, anything that devil brings will seem like a breakthrough. After 40 days, Jesus was hungry but His soul was full with the Word hence He was able to say no to the devil. Matthew 4:4 But Jesus told him, “No! The Scriptures say, ‘People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.'”

You are a product of your imagination.

Proverbs 23:7 For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. “Eat and drink!” he says to you, But his heart is not with you.

There is no transformation until you you change the way you think.

Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Think about the good things you want.

Don’t spend time thinking about negative things. Some people just by greeting them, they respond by complaining. If you think you are useless, the next action is suicide. Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy-meditate on these things.
