Somebody is on her/his knees for you. Someone is praying for you.

Somebody is on her/his knees for you.

There is someone praying for your wellbeing. Even as go out and parents warn you of the dangers out there, they remain in Prayer mood. You seem to escape the dangers not knowing that, somebody is on his/her knees as you go out. In our marriages, there are partners who are just there to back us up with prayer as you meet for business and you prosper not seeing the hand above you, the coverage that you are under, because somebody is on the knees. Psalm 106:30-31 But Phinehas had the courage to intervene, and the plague was stopped. So he has been regarded as a righteous man ever since that time.

Situations come and go and you remain standing, because somebody is on the knees. God looked down on you with favor because He acknowledge the intercessor, His servant. He values the relationship they have and don’t allow calamities to fall on the relatives of those He loves. It gives Him joy to protect them.

That salvation you received, it was not your own doing, you were busy with worldly things while things and circumstances were turning for you to receive grave, the unwarranted favor.

There is progress in everything you do, God’s ear is attentive to His servant’s Prayer and He honor’s them. They never boast about your progress, because even to them the power and the work done through their prayers is hidden for them to see, yet they never give up, but continue in Prayer mood.

When God wanted to destroy Sodom, Abraham stood in the gap for his people. Genesis 18:32 Finally, Abraham said, “Lord, please don’t be angry with me if I speak one more time. Suppose only ten are found there?” And the LORD replied, “Then I will not destroy it for the sake of the ten.” Even to you today, someone is on their knees, interceding for safety, your prosperity, and health.

As we begin the year, others spent sleepless night in prayer and fasting. Places of worship were full to capacity for the Cross Over night Service preparing for the new year. Prayers offered for the country, family and relatives. Oh! What a night of praise and worship. Why wouldn’t God relent His anger towards you, in favor of those He loves. He is still the same God. He is the same yesterday, today and forever!

Always pray for others. Your country needs you. Your relatives needs you. We are hear because somebody prayed.

1 Timothy 2:1-2 urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity.

Our prayer must be in line will His will for us.

1 John 5:14 And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. Let us be sensitive to the Spirit, He will teach us how to pray so that our prayers bear fruits. Pray as you can’t. There is no conducive place nor time to pray. God knows what is best for us. Romans 8:27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Jesus does not come to the scene because we prayed but because it is the appointed time.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven. When you offer prayer in panic, you expect God to act based on your feelings and don’t exercise patience in waiting. You expect things to happen immediately. When people visits a ministry where there is deliverance, they often go back dejected if the results are not what they expected. This often lead to doubt on the calling of the servant of God. John 11:5-6 Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. So, when He heard that he was sick, He stayed two more days in the place where He was.

At the appointed time, there is healing and deliverance. Servants of God can declare breakthrough but few testifies afterwards not that the others did not believe but it was not the appointed time for them. Habakkuk 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.

Fix your eyes on the promises, God will never leave you nor forsake you. He knows your pain and said, the grace is enough to see you through.

Faith requires action.

A hungry person does not need prayer, he need food. When a person is hungry, you cannot say let’s pray. First sort out the hunger then the scripture will make sense.James 2:15-17 Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, and you say, “Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well”-but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do? So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless.
