Ecclesiastes 3:1 To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven. When you offer prayer in panic, you expect God to act based on your feelings and don’t exercise patience in waiting. You expect things to happen immediately. When people visits a ministry where there is deliverance, they often go back dejected if the results are not what they expected. This often lead to doubt on the calling of the servant of God. John 11:5-6 Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. So, when He heard that he was sick, He stayed two more days in the place where He was.
At the appointed time, there is healing and deliverance. Servants of God can declare breakthrough but few testifies afterwards not that the others did not believe but it was not the appointed time for them. Habakkuk 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.
Fix your eyes on the promises, God will never leave you nor forsake you. He knows your pain and said, the grace is enough to see you through.
When situations comes, not only does your attitude changes, even your prayer. Luke 18:1 One day Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up.
A hungry person does not need prayer, he need food. When a person is hungry, you cannot say let’s pray. First sort out the hunger then the scripture will make sense.James 2:15-17 Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, and you say, “Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well”-but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do? So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless.
Matthew 10:30-31 And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows.
Even before you pray, I shall answer you. When you are in His will, blessings are given. There are things that we have and we never prayed for.
Isaiah 65:24 “It shall come to pass That before they call, I will answer; And while they are still speaking, I will hear.
A relationship is two-way. Take time to hear from God. There are things we just need direction on what to do and can’t hear the instructions if we are the one always talking.
1 Timothy 2:1-2 urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity.
Genesis 18:12-14 So she laughed silently to herself and said, “How could a worn-out woman like me enjoy such pleasure, especially when my master-my husband-is also so old?” Then the LORD said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh? Why did she say, ‘Can an old woman like me have a baby?’ Is anything too hard for the LORD? I will return about this time next year, and Sarah will have a son.”
In due time He’ll come through for you. Trust God even if it seems impossible. Ask God for things you cannot do on your own then you’ll know it’s only Him who made it happen.
