Be aware of powers and principalities but don’t live in fear.

Lamentations 3:37 Who can command things to happen without the Lord’s permission? Satan thrives on putting fear amongst Christians. We pray in panic rather than a having relationship with our God. God promised that He will never leave us no forsake us. As much as you acknowledge the powers and principalities on this earth, know the God you are following. Ecclesiastes 3:14 And I know that whatever God does is final. Nothing can be added to it or taken from it. God’s purpose is that people should fear him. Take control of your thoughts, don’t let them control you. Respect man but fear God. Fear is like a prison, free yourself, think God first not your trouble. Be calm in the storm. Exodus 14:14 The LORD himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.”

Let’ go back to God

Satan has given us tools in the form of fake pastors and prophets to attack church and at some point God himself. In the mean time, he has implemented attack on human kind. We will continue to be amazed at how people behave nowadays and seek solutions of canal, till it dawn that we must return to God as a nation.

A child stabbing a teacher, progressed beyond the capability of a social worker assistance.

Powers and principalities

Fighting principalities, means what is before us cannot be handled with our normal capability. When the disciples could not cure the epileptic boy, Jesus said “This kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”

Ephesians 6:12 For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

Many Christians are ignorant of powers and principalities that affects us daily. Even when you are prayerful and committed to serving God, you can still be afflicted and God give a green light to it. It is the same challenges that moves us closer to God. Job 1:8-12 Then the LORD asked Satan, “Have you noticed my servant Job? He is the finest man in all the earth. He is blameless-a man of complete integrity. He fears God and stays away from evil.” Satan replied to the LORD, “Yes, but Job has good reason to fear God. You have always put a wall of protection around him and his home and his property. You have made him prosper in everything he does. Look how rich he is! But reach out and take away everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face!” “All right, you may test him,” the LORD said to Satan. “Do whatever you want with everything he possesses, but don’t harm him physically.” So Satan left the LORD’s presence.

The powers and principalities can also cause delays in things that we are expecting, things that are rightfully ours. Daniel 9:23 The moment you began praying, a command was given. And now I am here to tell you what it was, for you are very precious to God. Listen carefully so that you can understand the meaning of your vision.

Don’t play into the hands of Satan.

The truth shall set us free only if we apply it with wisdom. Most of the time we fight the wrong battle, we fight those we love in the name of Jesus. Don’t allow yourself to be a pawn in his chessboard. You are the missing piece in his puzzle. He’s got the plan in place you are the only one that can make it successful, he will use the truth to fight you. Be alert at all times.

Introspect and evaluate your actions and see if you didn’t support his plan. 1 Peter 5:8-9 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. The main aim of him attacking a union is to destroy it. What you are experiencing, your partner is experiencing in a different way but all work together for him. When he challenges your marriage, he can make one to be stubborn and allows you to play your part, he knows you’ll use the truth to judge the situation, in your truth you comply with him by fighting the spiritually inflicted partner.

He knows how Christians thinks, he’s been one of us. Matthew 16:23 But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.” Peter only knew the normal human behavior and responded the normal way a caring friend would do but Jesus realized that Satan has inflicted him. He dealt with the spirit behind the confusion not the person.

Your brother might still be in sin but he is not a sinner. Remember that God waited for you also. Don’t use what you see to make judgement. Satan is like a thief, he studies his subject and knows the strength and weaknesses of his opponents. He doesn’t just attack a person without facts. He knows even to use the truth to fight us. Job 1:9-10 Satan replied to the LORD, “Yes, but Job has good reason to fear God. You have always put a wall of protection around him and his home and his property. You have made him prosper in everything he does. Look how rich he is! God has not left us to be vulnerable, the Holy Spirit is there to guide us. He speak through a His Word and gives us wisdom. Be sensitive and obedient to Him as He speaks. Mark 13:11 But when they arrest you and deliver you up, do not worry beforehand, or premeditate what you will speak. But whatever is given you in that hour, speak that; for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit.

Most of the time we know when we acted in an unjust way to others, because in any situation, He is always speaking. Jesus said “It is written” What is the scripture advising you to today that you are refusing? Check yourself.

The main reasons the devil plot your downfall is to steal your joy and to ridicule the name of God.

When we proclaim the Word of God and it’s promises, the enemy won’t rest until he proves it otherwise. It’s not that others don’t make mistakes, he wants to embarrass you. By being a Christian, you have declared war to his kingdom. 2 Samuel 12:13-14 So David said to Nathan, “I have sinned against the LORD.” And Nathan said to David, “The LORD also has put away your sin; you shall not die. However, because by this deed you have given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also who is born to you shall surely die.”

Girls that are all over, changing boyfriends, can do this for a long time without falling pregnant but as a Christian child, you cheat once and that can leads to pregnancy, you become the talk of Town. People will have all sorts of comment about church and Christian behavior.

When God wanted to kill the Israelites, Moses used the promises that God made as a bargaining tool. Numbers 14:13 But Moses objected. “What will the Egyptians think when they hear about it?” he asked the LORD. “They know full well the power you displayed in rescuing your people from Egypt.
