In soccer they say play the ball not the man. Matthew 16:23 But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.”

John 13:2 And supper being ended, the devil having already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, to betray Him.
Matthew 4:2 And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry.
The devil cannot give you anger, he just exploits it. Be aware of your weakness and ask God to help you. After 40 days fast, Satan knew that Jesus was hungry and tried to tempt Him. If the devil gives you something you desperately need, would you be able to say no? What the devil gives he takes something with the other hand.
The assignment is temporary.Matthew 27:3-4 When Judas, who had betrayed him, realized that Jesus had been condemned to die, he was filled with remorse. Satan doesn’t worry about those already in his camp.Psalm 37:35-36 I have seen wicked and ruthless people flourishing like a tree in its native soil. But when I looked again, they were gone! Though I searched for them, I could not find them! They can continue to receive the blessings they received from God because they don’t have opposition in their life
Genesis 3:6 The woman was convinced. She saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would give her. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it, too.
If you are a prayerful person and suddenly reduce the way you normally pray that’s an alert. If you don’t feel like going to church, be worried. The devil doesn’t come and tell you you are the next target. It’s a spiritual warfare. Any spiritual undertaking shakes the devil’s kingdom and he won’t just let go.
1 Peter 5:8-9 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.
2 Corinthians 2:10-11 Now whom you forgive anything, I also forgive. For if indeed I have forgiven anything, I have forgiven that one for your sakes in the presence of Christ, lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.

Pray that your faith should not fail you.

Ephesians 4:31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Because Jesus loves us, He also build some security around us but we can open a gap for Satan to attack through anger, un-forgiveness and other evil practice. Luke 22:31-32 “Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.” Put on the armor of God at all times. Plead the blood upon your family. Remember if he can’t get to you, he’ll get to you through your family. Ephesians 6:11-12 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Pray at all times. Prayer has no schedule, any gap is enough for the devil to pounce.1 Peter 5:8-9 Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith. Remember that your family of believers all over the world is going through the same kind of suffering you are.
