Nowadays you are more likely to be hurt in Church by fellow congregants or the pastor because we are ignorant of the powers and principalities that operates around us.

Ephesians 6:11-12 Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Once you make a decision to follow Jesus, know that, that on its own is a challenge to the devil kingdom. No businessman is excited to see his customers leaving him. Church should be a place of refuge, filled with love but the devil has infiltrated it because we have made a gathering. 1 Peter 5:8-9 Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith. Remember that your family of believers all over the world is going through the same kind of suffering you are.

Don’t fight the people around you, there is a real enemy, Satan. Pray without ceasing, any gap is enough for Satan to attack.

In the boxing match, there is no winner without bruses.

To be a Christian does not mean, you won’t face challenges. No weapons formed against you shall prosper but they will get to you. Jeremiah 1:19 They will fight against you, But they shall not prevail against you. For I am with you,” says the LORD, “to deliver you.”

The Lord promised that our enemies will fight us but victory is guranteed. We must be ready to engage with spiritual tools. We will emerge with bruses but we will be victors.

As long as you live in this world temptations will always be there but the spirit of The Lord in us,me teaches us to say No to the desires of the world.

Titus 2:11-14 For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good …

The devil is fighting against light. Because you are in the light you become the target but the battle is against Christ. Let Him fight, for us is to obey the Word.

John 1:1-7 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

When God is involved in your battle victory is certain.

Ephesians 6:12-17 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God …

In the physical you know the time because you have the wrist watch but do you know what is the time in the spiritual realm?

If you don’t know what time it is in the spiritual realm, during time of discipleship you will be in the pulpit and wonder why things don’t move. When God is busy moulding you, you’ll be cursing thinking it’s the devil instead of saying “What next Lord, I Am at your mercy”
