A lot of time we resign ourselves to situations because of the information we have. Always remember that there is you and there is God. 2 Kings 5:11 But Naaman became angry and stalked away. “I thought he would certainly come out to meet me!” he said. “I expected him to wave his hand over the leprosy and call on the name of the LORD his God and heal me! There is a person who knows tomorrow. There is nothing that we can tell God that He does not know. There are situations where because of what we know, we tell ourselves that it’s not possible. Famous quote “I don’t have money to do this”. We must learn to trust God on situations that seem impossible. You cannot grow faith by trusting a God on things you can do on your own.
Look at that mountain and start walking boldly towards it and leave the rest to God. You need the “I can do it” mentality when walking with God. Forget what you know about the mountain and trust what you know about a God. Genesis 22:8 “God will provide a sheep for the burnt offering, my son,” Abraham answered. And they both walked on together.
A child believes the parent can handle any situation before them. They trust their parent wholeheartedly.
Let us approach God with the mind of a child in situations that seems impossible.
As long as you still have alternative plans you will never depend on God. First thing we do in situations is call a friend or family. Acknowledge Him in all your ways. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
1 Samuel 15:24 Then Saul said to Samuel, “I have sinned, for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD and your words, because I feared the people and obeyed their voice. When it’s the man who made you, they can bring you down. If man make you fly as you fly high, they will clip your wings. Allow God to work on you. Proverbs 29:25 The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the LORD shall be safe.
Genesis 12:1 The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you. Most of us spent a lot of time “Why Lord” instead of trusting God with our lives. The only thing you’ll achieve with asking why, is moving away from God. Job 9:7-8 If he commands it, the sun won’t rise and the stars won’t shine. He alone has spread out the heavens and marches on the waves of the sea.
Nothing happens under this earth and he does not know. In your situation, know that he’s working on and answer. Psalm 138:8 The LORD will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.
Nothing happens in my life without Him knowing. Psalm 138:3 As soon as I pray, you answer me; you encourage me by giving me strength.
Psalm 125:1 Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever.
