What is the apple the devil showed you? Genesis 3:1

Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’? ” The devil continues to deceit Christians in our lives. The apple today in our lives might come as debt,lies,dishonesty, cheating, addiction, unfaithfulness, disobedience, lack of prayer life, etc.

Revelation 3:10 Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth.

All things have been created through him and for him.

Every time you wake up, thank him and enquire from Him to give you the plans for the day. Worry about your character. Your are an ambassador.

Zephaniah 1:18 NIV Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to save them on the day of the Lord’s wrath.” In the fire of his jealousy the whole earth will be consumed, for he will make a sudden end of all who live on the earth.

The one thing you have control over is your life. No one can hurt you without your permission.

Difference between doing good and doing godly things

I was just in a conversession with my little sister, the thought of doing godly things vs doing good struck me. There are lot of things that we do and people love it but it makes us incomplete. For instance at work the company has a guy they employ who wash cars and employees pays R10 for the service. A group of us thought we can assist the guy by paying him R20 rather than paying the R10 at the office. It’s a good thing but it struck me that we are being disobedient and I stopped doing it.

So it is in the spirit. A lot of Christians do a lot of things that are good in our eyes but God might not be happy.

2 Samuel 6:6-7 NIV When they came to the threshing floor of Nakon, Uzzah reached out and took hold of the ark of God, because the oxen stumbled. [7] The Lord’s anger burned against Uzzah because of his irreverent act; therefore God struck him down, and he died there beside the ark of God.

He has identified me from my mothers womb in Jeremiah 1:5 and I’m chosen by his grace in Romans 11:5. The Lord is at work, it’s just a matter of time that The Lord will reveal who I am. He will guide my steps and He will put his words on my lips and my lips will confess his truth and His people will be taken out of darkness and bondage and his name will be glorified cause I AM has sent me to the world.

Many of us know the truth yet do not believe John 20:25

John 20:25 So the other disciples told him, We have seen the Lord!But he said to them, Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.

Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations. ”

If He formed you, why are you taking long to be like Him. Can Christ come and see similarity when He looks at you?
