Fixing injustice progressively

There was injustice committed during forceful land grab by white people, this reminds me of a story about David and Uriah. Nathan delivered the message from God to David in a parable about injustice. The reading from 2 Samuel 12:1-7 and Matthew 23:23 demonstrate how God feels about injustice especially how the marginalized are treated. How do we fix this mess progressively? The current owners would rather defend the reversal than to come to the table and negotiate a fair deal.

It’s costly for your enemies to keep track of your progress. It’s Mentally and financially exhaustive.

Jealousy is an expensive and exhaustive behavior. All you do is worry about achievements of your enemies. The sad part is that those you hate are sometimes, people who can help you move to another level of comfort. 1 Samuel 23:14 David now stayed in the strongholds of the wilderness and in the hill country of Ziph. Saul hunted him day after day, but God didn’t let Saul find him. David helped Saul win many battles but Saul could not take hearing people speak good about David. When your subordinates achieve, by default, you benefit as their leader, no need to compete with them. Just hearing about the birth of Jesus, King Herold lost it. Imagine being threatened by a baby. Matthew 2:3 King Herod was deeply disturbed when he heard this, as was everyone in Jerusalem. Your success brings with it enemies. There are people who are enemies of progress.

Never tire in doing good

Don’t compare yourself with your haters. You can never change people’s character. Sometimes just appreciate that we are different, there are those who enjoy hating, don’t be like them. This doesn’t mean you must go along with what they do to you but don’t respond like them. 1 Peter 3:17 Remember, it is better to suffer for doing good, if that is what God wants, than to suffer for doing wrong!
Be the ambassador of peace, never tire in doing good, those who hurt you must ultimately learn peace from you, they must learn the better way of treating people from you. If you get tired, you will act like them and people won’t know the difference between you and those who hurt you.
Galatians 6:9-10 So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone-especially to those in the family of faith.

What makes us get tired, is because we use our effort than it being in us.

After death, it’s time to rest from our earthly activities. While those we left behind reflect on our life

When we are alive and interact with people, some will see us from a positive perspective while others will see us on a negative one. Our aim must be to live a life that had a positive impact on many that crossed our path. At death, it’s time for those left behind to reflect on us, while we transcends to a time of rest, a promise for Christians or those who believed in Christ.
Revelation 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this down: Blessed are those who die in the Lord from now on. Yes, says the Spirit, they are blessed indeed, for they will rest from their hard work; for their good deeds follow them!”
Jesus left a good story that impacted the whole world. There is a time he healed a person with a deformed hand and this angered some, while the same thing brought joy to the man.
Luke 6:10-11 He looked around at them one by one and then said to the man, “Hold out your hand.” So the man held out his hand, and it was restored! At this, the enemies of Jesus were wild with rage and began to discuss what to do with him.

Go on and write your story, God bless
