God causes His angels to go before us, to be with us, and to follow after us.

Hebrews 1:14 Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?

The angels are here to help and they are prepared for any emergency. 2 Kings 6:16-17 “Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

Matthew 18:7 Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come!

Nothing under earth is new, no matter how sad it is. As we pray for the victims of xenophobia in South Africa, we must also pray for those who committed the act. This verse tells us that some of these things “must come” and will continue to happen. Matthew 18:7 Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come! This is because of our wickedness.

Once you say the Holy Spirit is in you, there are certain things, that must fall off.

1 Corinthians 6:19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own.

Anything that is contrary to the Holy Spirit cannot reside in you. You are the messenger of love. With the life that you are living, do people want your God?

Your walk with God could affect great numbers of future generations

in our walk with God, we must make sure that those coming after us, benefit from our relationship with him. Exodus 20:5-6 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.
