Why we do what we do

Job 34:21 “For His eyes are on the ways of man, And He sees all his steps. Most people have taken the position of God in judging others because of how we perceive wrong and right. When people are going to churches we deem are led by false prophets or false pastors, we are quick to take the position of God. One thing we aught to remember is that God looks at the heart, why we do what we do. One might be attending a church led by a false prophet but be submitting so with the understanding that he is submitting to a man anointed by God. God loves a cheerful giver. We might be attending to at those churches but be far from salvation. Proverbs 16:2 People may be pure in their own eyes, but the LORD examines their motives.

Moses disobeyed God but because of the purpose God had for his people, he allowed him to continue performing miracles and at the appointed time stopped him from entering the promised land. Always remember that there is God and there is you. Worry about your own salvation, run your own race, focus on the price. When David was presented with an opportunity to kill Saul, he said, who can touch the anointed servant of God. As much as Saul was rejected by God, God anointed him as a king. 1 Samuel 26:7-9 So David and Abishai went right into Saul’s camp and found him asleep, with his spear stuck in the ground beside his head. Abner and the soldiers were lying asleep around him.”God has surely handed your enemy over to you this time!” Abishai whispered to David. “Let me pin him to the ground with one thrust of the spear; I won’t need to strike twice!”, “No!” David said. “Don’t kill him. For who can remain innocent after attacking the LORD’s anointed one?

The Bible says all authority come from God. We might not be in agreement with the one in authority but we are still expected to submit as long as it does not move us away from God. Wherever David was going, God was with him and he saw the submission, even to a man who planned to kill him. David is the epitome of Christianity, a man after God’s heart.

We are all serving in our different ministries with one purpose of serving God. Let God be the judge. My message is not to say we must not discuss scriptures but to warn against playing the righteous one cause, only God knows the heart of a man.
