When you loose your position of grace, to return it’s a painful process.

Hebrews 12:16-17 See that no one is sexually immoral, or is godless like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son. Afterward, as you know, when he wanted to inherit this blessing, he was rejected. Even though he sought the blessing with tears, he could not change what he had done.

God qualifies

Acts 4:13 When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.

Many are stuck in poverty whilst their great destiny have been declared because they see themselves not worthy to do things they are called for.

When you are called it does not mean commission.

When a person calls you, you answer and wait for the next instruction. Some people just by hearing their name they come running. The call of God does not mean you are commissioned. When you are called and not commissioned and you decide to start your ministry, you put yourself and those around you in trouble. Even though David was called he waited patiently for the commission. It’s important to go through discipleship so when you enter your office you are mature.

Spiritual Growth

How many times do one check his/her Twitter or Facebook or any social media updates to stay up to date. If you compare that to the time you spend reading the Word, which one takes precedence? We must realize that we are spiritual being before we physical beings.

What one must realize is that all these feeds one of these beings. The more time you spend feeding your spiritual being with the Word, the more you grow and understand the spiritual realm thereby making sure that you leave in the supernatural. The supernatural means your spiritual being has power over the natural being.

If your spent more time with Worldly  updates, you are  growing your natural being and because your spiritual being is less fed, it has less power over the natural being. You leave a prayer-less life. When you pray less and read the Word less, the less chances of hearing from God. One thing the reading news is good at is getting you worried and when you are worried, your prayer life drops. I’m suggesting that we must be ignorant Christians but try to highlight. the impact.

When you call on God, he must be able to identify your voice and when he speak you must be able to hear that it’s him speaking. This can only happen when we spend a lot of time together. When God called on Samuel, the only voice Samuel associated with was the one of Eli.1 Samuel 3:4-5 Then the Lord called Samuel. Samuel answered, “Here I am. ” And he ran to Eli and said, “Here I am; you called me.” But Eli said, “I did not call; go back and lie down.” So he went and lay down. The bibles tells us that Samuel did not know the Lord yet because his word was not yet revealed to him.

From verse 1, we learn that Samuel was ministering to the Lord under Eli and that the Word was rare during those time. 1 Samuel 3:1 The boy Samuel ministered before the Lord under Eli. In those days the word of the Lord was rare; there were not many visions. If his word does not exist in your life, you cannot associate with his voice.

My prayer today is that may the Lord himself guide us on this issue and also believe that he has already answered my prayer by way of this post.

Who are You sharing your blessings with?

2 Chronicles 20:37 Eliezer son of Dodavahu of Mareshah prophesied against Jehoshaphat, saying, “Because you have made an alliance with Ahaziah, the Lord will destroy what you have made.” The ships were wrecked and were not able to set sail to trade.

The people you associate with can stand in the way of your blessings. When God told Abraham to go,meh took Lot with. It’s only after Lot he separated with him that the Lord showed him what he prepared for him. Genesis 13:14-17 The Lord said to Abram after Lot had parted from him, “Look around from where you are, to the north and south, to the east and west. [15] All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever. I will make your offspring like the dust of the earth, so that if anyone could count the dust, then your offspring could be counted. Go, walk through the length and breadth of the land, for I am giving it to you.”

Jehoshaphat prayed to God but the answer was given to Jahaziel, the prophet.

2 Chronicles 20:14-15 Then the Spirit of the Lord came on Jahaziel son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite and descendant of Asaph, as he stood in the assembly. He said: “Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the Lord says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.

The bible tells us that God does nothing without revealing to his servants, the prophet. Amos 3:7 Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.

In times of troubles, where do you go for help?

2 Chronicles 20:3-4 Alarmed, Jehoshaphat resolved to inquire of the Lord, and he proclaimed a fast for all Judah. The people of Judah came together to seek help from the Lord; indeed, they came from every town in Judah to seek him.

Many of us in our troubles are quick to seek help from other sources than running to God. This is because we are not fully committed in our walk with God.
