As people we sometimes mix our feelings about others because of what we see them doing or hear them saying and want to link it with how God deals with them. Sometimes we see a person with money and question his reasoning and wonder how did s/he even become successful. There are servants of God if you are close to them, you witness the things they say or what they do in their private space and try to connect with what they achieve at the pulpit and wonder how God continues you use them. 1 Samuel 16:7 But the LORD said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The LORD doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.” There are things God want to achieve or get done that requires certain character to match. Moses would have been returned off as a servant of God because of his murder case yet he became one of the most influential character in the bible. David sent someone’s husband before the arm so he can be killed for him to gain access to his wife. Saul is another leader who tormented the Christian fraternity, yet he was used mightily in healing and deliverance.
No matter what we think about others, it doesn’t change what God see in them or how he choose to treat them.
God is sovereign!
