Let’s give God the space to work in our trials

When I see Christians going to court and protest when the set man is dragged before the law, I ask myself, what if it’s in the permissible will of God. Th scripture of Peter’s arrest also comes to mind or the three man at the lion’s den. Numbers 11:23 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Has my arm lost its power? Now you will see whether or not my word comes true!” It’s easy to defend the noise that churches makes with the sound systems or what they could have said at the pulpit but when the issue is private as in rape and fraud, how do we know for certain that our leaders are innocent. I have served very close to set man to know that, they are humans like us, they have their weaknesses like a man walking on this earth. There is the gruesome death that the disciples experienced yet they were doing God’s work. One man wrote, if our leaders (as in politicians) are innocent, let it be the court that declares it.

Sometimes there might be people who were hurt in the process, even if they come out, we normally don’t believe them because the set man cannot be in the wrong. When Peter was in jail, fellow believers were on their knees and allowed God to take his position and He came through for them.

Most of us have a picture of Jesus Christ as read in the Bible not through revelation hence the contradiction at the pulpit.

Many saw Jesus Christ in person, the disciples walked with him yet never knew who he was but Peter had a revelation of who Jesus was. Salvation is by grace, revelation of Christ unto us is by grace. Matthew 16:17 Jesus replied, “You are blessed, Simon son of John, because my Father in heaven has revealed this to you. You did not learn this from any human being.

People hold different versions of who you are

If you were to ask around abound the the impression people have about you, you’ll get amazing answers. Some had an encounter with you, some have your picture as told by others. Make sure it’s a beautiful picture the have. Matthew 16:13 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?”

Learn to check those dark corners of your heart where dangerous emotions lie.

Psalm 139:23-24 Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

The one difficult sin for us to come out of, is one pertaining issues of the heart. Hatred, jealousy, un-forgiveness…We can put the perfect act in church, knowing well that there people even if we can stand before Christ and be given an option to enter heaven only if we can forgive them, we will choose not.
